Market Comment - 29th March 2022

Posted by Stuart PritchardMarch 29, 2022

Good morning,

It's a quiet day today for both scheduled news and headlines from the last 24 hours.

The Ukraine situation has abated with proposed peace talks although it's predicted the chances of a positive outcome are slim.

Other than that it's the ongoing debacle around P&O Ferries that's dominating proceedings as vessels in the UK start failing safety checks and effectively become grounded.

Today sees some modest, scheduled market news. Later the UK publishes it's consumer credit position whilst in the States there's the FED's John Williams speech followed by the House Price Index and Consumer Confidence data.

As ever we look forward to keeping you in the loop and look out for our next update.
