Good morning,
Today sees the Pound continuing to make small gains versus the Euro. With little data out over the weekend this may well continue.
After heavy US data at the end of last week, the start of this week centres on the Eurozone. Germany has it's preliminary GDP data out first where analysts are expecting a flat result for their quarter on quarter numbers. Later on there's Eurozone consumer confidence data out.
The early hours of tomorrow could see the Australian Dollar moving when they release their retail sales numbers and at breakfast there's house price data out from the UK.
UK business news looks at the collapse of Flybe over the weekend. Reports suggest budget airlines, Easyjet and Ryanair, are waiting in the wings to try and recruit some of the staff that have been left high and dry.
