2 Key Interest Rate Decisions

This evening sees the FED release it's interest rate decision.

Analysts are expecting the rate to be kept at 4.5%.

This goes against the Presidents wishes for more and faster rate cuts.

However with words being exchanged between Donald Trump and the FED Chair, Jerome Powell, it's unlikely the rate will be cut.

Then it will be eyes on the Bank of England at lunch time tomorrow as a 25 point cut to 4.25% is anticipated.

It's also thought it will be a unanimous decision of 9 votes to 0 for the rate cut.

That's the movers and shakers in the scheduled news.

There's still plenty of global news stories pushing the markets around with the escalation of activity between India and Pakistan.
