After a quieter day for the Pound yesterday, things could get a bit livelier today.
GBP/EUR will be first off the blocks with Eurozone GDP numbers out mid morning.
Quarterly growth of 0.4% is expected.
However it's this evening that traders will be across.
The heads of the Bank of England, the FED and the ECB are all set to give speeches back to back.
There's plenty for them to discuss with the US election result last week and the potential ramifications for global trade.
With that in mind it looks like the markets have now priced most of the news in as the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ calm down after a giddy run.
What will be interesting is if they hold their gains.
Tomorrow breakfast sees a real opportunity for Pound moves. UK GDP numbers.
Expect quarterly growth of 0.2% to be reported....that's mighty close to the line.
Business news covers further moves in the public sector with the Chancellor suggesting Governmental pension funds might be combined to create "megafunds".
