Anyone exchanging the Dollar could be in for a bumpy ride.
2 key pieces of data are out today.
First off the bat is preliminary GDP. Analysts are expecting quarterly growth of 2.4%.
The big one is the FED interest rate decision later which is closely followed by a press conference discussing the decision making.
No change is expected at 4.5%, but tensions remain between the FED Chair, Jerome Powell, and the US President around this topic.
Earlier in the afternoon there's also the Canadian interest rate decision. Again, no change is expected, but their base rate is already down to 2.75%.
Thursday is absolutely awash with scheduled news stories, so anyone wanting to remove risk from imminent currency exchange transactions might want to consider their position.
Throw into the mix breaking global news stories and it could be a good day to take risk off the table for currency conversions.
